Responsibilities:
OIM is hiring a Senior Program Analyst to maintain and continue development of the Service Now Platform. VDH Office of Information Management is looking for a Senior Service Now Developer to support the ongoing maintenance and integration efforts of Service Now environment and that can assist with upcoming implementations.

Under general direction, independently develops, maintains and extends a stable production, development and testing middleware infrastructure while extending the functionality and enabling developers to use it via mentoring and formal training.
Independently develops, modifies, and implements moderately to highly complex information systems that are thorough and accurate and conform to MST standards.
Codes, tests, debugs, and documents assignments of moderate to high complexity.
Independently researches and resolves more complex technical problems.
A top-level technical contributor in highly specialized phases of applications system architecture with strong technical (applications based) knowledge.
May serve as project manager or team lead on complex projects.
Based on customer requirements, formulates/defines systems scope and objectives.
Researches, develops, codes or modifies architecture components that are well designed, efficient and conform to MST architectural standards.
When assuming the project manager role, manages day-to-day project-related activities for projects of moderate to high complexity.
Work with multiple business owners to move forward development and enhancements around the core ITSM applications including Incident, Change and Request in a Domain separated instance of Service Now.
Integrate the Solution with client HR Systems.
Configure Service Now Solutions for a federal client.
Integrate the solution with client HR Systems such as HRIS and Applicant tracking systems.
Design and develop moderately complex scripts, workflows and integrations to create custom applications in Service Now.
Engage with customers to understand and document requirements.
Participate and contribute to design and code reviews.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in a field related to computer science, information technology or related fields
A background in IT service management software, particularly Service Now.
Service Now certification
JavaScript, HTML and CSS
Developers need to analyze system problems and develop innovative and feasible solutions to enhance application efficiency.
Developers must understand business operation and processes to create solutions that cater to the organization's needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Microsoft Dynamics.
Five or more years working and developing applications in service now.
Work experience in public health care setting.
Senior Service Now developer with experience with ITSM integrations, end to end testing, etc.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to maintain documentation, manage change management processes and ensure policies & procedures are being followed, maintain backlog, etc.
Experience with the Service Now modules: HAM & SAM, FSM, EC Pro, etc.
