Senior Azure ETL Developer
Location:
Local of Richmond VA or within 50 miles
Interview Mode: 2nd Round Onsite
Job Description:
- This role is expected to take a Sr Developer role within in the team to extract business data and load it into a data warehousing environment.
- Design and test the performance of the system.
- Consult within various teams to understand the companys data storage needs and develop data warehousing options.
- Well-versed in warehousing architecture techniques such as MOLAP ROLAP ODS DM and EDW.
- Experience in designing building and deploying scalable Azure cloud-based data solutions.
- Hands-on experience with Azure services such as Azure Data Factory Azure Databricks Azure Data Lake Storage Azure SQL Azure Synapse and other data sources.
- Hands-on experience in SQL Server SSIS SSRS SSAS ORACLE T-SQL Azure SQL Database Azure SQL Data warehouse
- Hands-on experience in deploying and maintaining large-scale data processing pipelines.
- Hands-on scripting experience with Windows and/or Python Linux Shell scripting.
- Experience in data analysis and provide cloud based technical solutions.
- Experience working on both on-prem and cloud-based data solutions.
- Experience in querying and analyzing small and large data sets to discover patterns and deliver meaningful insights.
- Work with data architects data engineers business analysts and business teams to provide Azure data driven solutions.
- Experience in Azure Dev Ops or Continuous Integration/Delivery
- Well-versed with Agile practices. Familiarity with C# and .Net is a huge plus
