The Staff VP Advanced Analytics provides analytical and strategic decision support to identify business opportunities and optimize results. As a senior analytics and insights leader, the role sets the strategic direction and execution of Carelon’s analysis and insights capabilities, leading a high‑performing organization that delivers tailored, data‑driven insights and consultative analytics to support strategy, performance, and outcomes across clinical and specialty business areas.

• Strategic Leadership & Direction:
  Define and own the enterprise Analysis & Insights strategy, align to Carelon Insights priorities and broader Carelon and Elevance Health business objectives, establish a clear analytical vision and roadmap, and design an operating model that includes a front‑door stakeholder engagement process.
• Team Leadership & Talent Development:
  Lead, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary team of analytics professionals, build a culture of curiosity, rigor and accountability, and ensure the organization has the right mix of strategic thinkers, technical experts and consultative partners.
• Analysis, Insights & Decision Support:
  Oversee delivery of tailored, data‑driven insights that support strategy, performance management and outcomes improvement across clinical and specialty domains; guide exploratory analyses to uncover trends, utilization patterns and network performance opportunities; translate insights into clear, actionable recommendations for leadership.
• Program Evaluation & Impact Measurement:
  Lead design and execution of program evaluation frameworks to assess effectiveness, ROI and outcomes; ensure credible measurement approaches; partner with business and clinical teams to track performance over time and quantify realized impact.
• Advanced Analytics, Tools & Products:
  Oversee design, deployment and optimization of predictive models, analytic tools and self‑service capabilities; ensure stakeholders have reliable access to high‑quality analytic solutions; drive the strategy to package and scale analytic capabilities into repeatable and sellable products.
• Stakeholder Partnership & Enterprise Enablement:
  Serve as a trusted thought partner and primary analytics point‑of‑contact for senior leaders; provide cross‑functional analytic support across all pods; lead executive‑level discussions and presentations, translating complex analytics into compelling narratives and strategic recommendations.

• BA/BS in Math or Business Administration and a minimum of 7 years management experience in the healthcare industry; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 7+ years of experience in analytics, insights, healthcare strategy, or related domains.
• Advanced degree (MBA, MPH, MS, PhD) preferred.
• Demonstrated success leading large, complex analytics and insights organizations with both direct and indirect reports.
• Deep experience in healthcare analytics, including utilization management, network performance, program evaluation and outcomes measurement.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and operate effectively in a highly matrixed enterprise environment.
• Exceptional executive communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate analysis into decisions and action.

• 7+ years of experience in analytics, insights, healthcare strategy or related domains.
