Software Tester/QA Analyst 3

Richmond, VA

• Define, manage, and execute the quality assurance strategy to ensure delivery of high-quality, reliable software solutions.
• Lead testing efforts across the software development lifecycle, coordinate QA resources, establish testing standards, and work closely with development, product, and business stakeholders to mitigate risk and ensure system readiness.

• Define and own the overall QA and testing strategy across projects and releases.
• Lead test planning, execution, and reporting for functional, integration, system, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, test scripts, and traceability matrices.
• Coordinate QA activities across internal teams and third-party vendors.
• Ensure alignment between requirements, test coverage, and acceptance criteria.
• Manage defect tracking, prioritization, and resolution in collaboration with development teams.
• Establish QA standards, best practices, and test governance processes.
• Oversee test environments, test data preparation, and release readiness assessments.
• Provide risk‑based testing recommendations and go/no‑go input for releases.

• 5 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
• 2 years of experience in a QA Lead, Test Lead, or similar role.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, and/or Waterfall methodologies.
• Hands‑on experience with test management and defect tracking tools.
• Experience in automated testing frameworks and tools.
• Experience leading UAT and working with business stakeholders.
• Experience in healthcare environments.

• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.

• Clear, concise written and verbal communication.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Detail‑oriented with a strong quality mindset.

• Occasional extended hours during critical testing cycles or releases.
