DescriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Data Analyst to support a large-scale Dayforce implementation. This role will focus on data validation, reconciliation, and payroll testing activities, ensuring accuracy and integrity of payroll data throughout the implementation lifecycle. Our ideal candidate brings experience with payroll systems, testing cycles, and financial data analysis, and will play a critical role in supporting parallel payroll runs and system validation efforts.
ResponsibilitiesData Analysis & Reconciliation
- Analyze payroll and HR system data to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Perform data validation, reconciliation, and discrepancy resolution
- Support payroll data integrity across systems and reporting outputs
- Participate in system testing cycles including Unit, SIT, UAT, and parallel payroll runs
- Validate payroll calculations and ensure outputs align with expected results
- Support “Day in the Life” testing scenarios and end-to-end process validation
- Work within Dayforce to analyze payroll data, troubleshoot issues, and validate system outputs
- Assist in identifying data gaps, errors, and configuration issues
- Support transition from legacy system Workday to Dayforce
- Generate and review payroll and testing reports
- Provide insights into data trends, discrepancies, and risks
- Support audit readiness through accurate reporting and documentation
- Partner with Payroll, HR, Finance, and IT teams during implementation
- Collaborate with system integrators and project teams on data-related tasks
- Support issue tracking, resolution, and escalation as needed
- 4-6+ years of experience in data analysis, payroll, or financial systems
- Experience analyzing large datasets and performing data reconciliations
- Hands on HCM experience needed including Day in Life testing
- High proficiency with Dayforce and Workday experience highly preferred
- Strong Excel and data analysis skills
- High attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies quickly
$25/hr to $50/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
