Join a pivotal team supporting the nation’s central bank as a Sr. Automation Engineer specializing in Ansible. In this remote/onsite hybrid role based in Richmond, VA, you will lead automation initiatives to modernize infrastructure and enhance operational efficiency across enterprise systems. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop advanced automation solutions that safeguard critical financial and payment systems, leveraging cutting‑edge cloud and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) technologies.
Drive innovation through automation, API development, and secure scripting practices within an Agile environment. Your expertise will enable self‑service automation, streamline workflows, and support the strategic vision of the organization.
- Advanced Ansible experience (playbooks, roles, modules, workflows) for complex, secure enterprise environments
- 7+ years of automation and software development experience, including Python, Bash, or Power Shell scripting
- Proficiency in REST API development using frameworks such as FastAPI or Flask
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, Git, and automated testing frameworks
- Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix administration and cloud platforms (AWS and/or Azure)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Experience working within Agile or Scaled Agile frameworks
