Business Analyst ()
This position is for a 12+ month assignment with potential extension. The work schedule is hybrid: 3 days on-site in Richmond, VA each week.
Responsibilities- Work with internal staff to optimize processes and improve quality for the design, development, and maintenance of the client’s software systems.
- Learn and understand the operational systems; consult with business and technical teams to develop requirements for system improvements.
- Translate requirements into technical specifications for use by technical teams.
- Prepare diagrams that explain modifications so that technical staff and executive management can visualize and understand the needed changes.
- Propose alternative solutions that balance cost and benefit, ensuring business and technical compatibility and performance.
- Drive consistent project delivery through the entire project lifecycle; track and export project metrics; ensure the adoption of Agile principles.
- Prepare test plans, storyboards, and requirements; execute test activities.
- 5+ years of Business Analyst experience in IT projects, with strong background in IT software/application projects.
- Experience in requirements elicitation, storyboard development, wireframe preparation, test planning, and test execution.
- Technical experience in test plans, storyboards, and requirements.
