Wireless Network Engineer

Our client is looking for a Network Engineer to join their team! This is a hybrid role that requires working onsite two days a week and coming in for meetings. The Network Engineer will work on assigned projects and manage and maintain campus and data centre networks. This role involves working closely with engineers and architects to design, implement, and troubleshoot network systems.

The ideal candidate is proactive, can prioritize tasks, and solve complex network issues.

Top skills you need to have:

• Network Industry Certifications
• Experience with Arista (preferably) or other commercial Wi-Fi platform
• 10+ years' working experience with network technologies including network design and deployments of Campus and Data Centre networks.
• Working knowledge of leaf-spine architectures
• Advanced knowledge in the following areas:
  Ethernet, VLANs, VxLAN, VPN, IP Routing, TCP/IP, BGP, IPsec, MACsec, QoS, Wi-Fi, VoIP, and 802.1X
• Centralized network management automation mindset is highly desired
• Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills
• Excellent written skills and desire to document network infrastructures
• Experience with working in an ITIL or similar service operational environment
• Arista Cloud Vision experience preferred
• Palo Alto firewall experience preferred
• Citrix Net Scaler or load balancing experience preferred
• Zscaler Secure Private Access experience preferred
• Nutanix Flow or virtual machine micro-segmentation experience preferred
• Microsoft Azure networking knowledge a plus
• Experience working with a Network Access Control solution preferred
