What We Are Looking For:

CoStar Group is seeking a Product Manager to own and evolve key components of our platform, with a strong focus on delivering practical,customer drivenimprovementsatscale. In this role, you will turn real client feedback into clear product requirements, own portions of the product backlog, and partner closely with Engineering to deliver enhancements that make our products easier and more valuable to use. You will workcross-functionally with

Sales,Customer Service,Analytics,Technology, and Design teams. You will interact with customers and other stakeholdersdaily,creating userstoriesandsupportingproductenhancementsthroughreleases.

This is an opportunity for ahands-on Product Manager who enjoys owning outcomes, solving everyday customer problems, and building impactful products in a dynamic and evolving industry.

This position is in Richmond,VA and is in office Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities:

  • Leverage customer feedback, market insights, and internal stakeholder input to deliver practical,yetimpactfulproduct improvements that enhance the CoStar customer experience and make our products easier to use.

  • Own and manage defined components of the product roadmap, with a focus onmaintainingand enhancing existing feature sets and delivering incremental improvements.

  • Drive product releases in afast-paced

    Agile software development environment, including writing user stories, prioritizing backlog items, supporting release planning, and creating release notes.

  • Serve as a key point of contact for inbound product feedback from Sales, Customer Service, and clients; translate real-world use cases into clear requirements for Engineering.

  • Work closely with Product, Engineering,Design, QA, Sales, and Analytics teams to scope, plan, and deliver enhancements that address customer needs and business priorities.

  • Understand, document, and analyze customer workflows and pain points to develop actionable use cases and improvement opportunities.

  • Support user testing efforts, gather feedback, and help translate insights into prioritized development work.

  • Plan and execute feature releases to a large subscriber base, ensuring clear communication and alignment across internal teams.

  • Use customer data, usage metrics, and qualitative feedback to inform prioritization decisions and evaluate product outcomes.

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degreerequiredfrom an accredited, in-person, not for profit university of college

  • A demonstrated track recordof ownership, reliability, and success in prior roles

  • 2–4 years of experience in Product Management, Project Management, or a related role, with exposure to software or data driven products

  • Commercial Real Estate experience

  • Experience defining product requirements and delivering feature enhancements in partnership with Engineering teams

  • Exposure to Agile or Scrum development environments, including backlog management and sprint planning

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills

  • Experience working with SaaS, data, analytics, or information products that support businessdecision-making
