Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to serve as a servant leader and facilitator for multiple Agile teams, ensuring the successful adoption and execution of Scrum and Kanban methodologies. This individual will drive continuous improvement, remove team impediments, foster collaboration, and help teams deliver high-quality solutions while promoting self‑organization and accountability.

Job Responsibilities
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies including daily standups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives, release planning, and product demonstrations.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between technical and non‑technical stakeholders to ensure effective communication and alignment.
  • Coach Agile teams on Scrum and Kanban best practices, including backlog management, user story development, estimation, and delivery planning.
  • Track, monitor, and communicate team velocity, sprint progress, and release milestones.
  • Promote adherence to Agile principles, team accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement practices.
  • Assist Product Owners with backlog refinement and ensuring the quality and readiness of user stories.
  • Support internal and external communications by improving visibility into team activities and project progress.
  • Facilitate the prioritization, tracking, and resolution of defects, issues, and risks.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve team working agreements, standards, processes, and Agile tools.
  • Create and manage team performance metrics to identify opportunities for increased efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Identify and remove obstacles that may impact team productivity and delivery timelines.
  • Facilitate discussions, decision‑making, and conflict resolution among team members and stakeholders.
  • Empower teams to self‑organize and achieve high levels of performance and collaboration.
  • Maintain Agile process documentation and ensure consistent execution of established practices.
Required

Skills & Qualifications
  • 4+ years of experience supporting Agile software development teams using Scrum and/or Kanban methodologies.
  • 5+ years of experience serving as a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Scrum leadership role.
  • 3+ years of experience working within Scaled Agile (SAFe) environments; SAFe certification preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Systems Design, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered.
  • Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies, principles, values, and practices.
  • Strong knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts and issues to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and coordinating activities across multiple teams.
  • Strong coaching and mentoring skills with the ability to help teams reach their highest potential.
  • Proven ability to identify and remove impediments while promoting team self‑management.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and conflict‑resolution abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Self‑motivated team player with a collaborative approach to driving decisions and outcomes.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to process improvement and delivery excellence.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 4+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, Business Analyst, or related Agile delivery role.
  • SAFe certification and experience supporting Agile transformation initiatives.
  • Experience working with Agile project management and collaboration tools.
