Enterprise Operations Center Analyst

* This is an onsite position. Candidate will work Wednesday-Friday from 6:30 am-6:30pm with one Saturday/month.

• An Enterprise Operations Center (EOC) Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring the seamless functioning of an organization's network systems and IT infrastructure.
• They act as the first line of defense monitoring systems and responding to incidents to minimize disruption and maintain optimal performance.

• Monitoring and incident response:
  Actively monitor network performance security applications and other IT assets for alarms alerts and potential security threats or incidents.
• Incident Triage and Resolution:
  Investigate alerts prioritize incidents based on severity and impact perform initial analysis to determine root causes and execute appropriate incident response actions to resolve issues promptly.
• Troubleshooting and Maintenance:
  Troubleshoot issues related to network operations and telecommunications infrastructure perform remote maintenance on enterprise equipment and analyze alarm systems and trouble reports to ensure optimal system functioning.
• Collaboration and Communication:
  Work closely with other IT teams security teams business partners and external vendors/carriers to coordinate incident resolution provide updates on system status and ensure effective communication and collaboration to meet operational goals.
• Documentation and Reporting:
  Maintain accurate records of incidents and service requests in service management tools generate reports on events trends and issues and assist in creating/revising Standard Operating Procedures SOPs.
• Security Administration and Support:
  Assist in handling business and IT emergencies including disaster recovery provide security administration services and support for the enterprise service desk.

• Strong technical aptitude and understanding of IT networking and telecommunications.
• Experience working in a Network Operations Center or Security Operations Center environment.
• Knowledge of server and database management Microsoft or Linux cloud technologies disaster recovery remote access solutions TCP/IP and network monitoring tools e.g. Solar Winds Nagios is often preferred.
• Strong analytical problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks multi-task effectively and work well under pressure.
• Proficiency in using ticketing systems and monitoring tools is essential.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Flexibility to work shifts including nights weekends and holidays in a 24/7 environment may be required.

• MUST have data network monitoring experience
• Familiarity with technical monitoring with network monitoring tools in a network operations center
• Must have experience with Telecommunications Transport Infrastructure
• Understanding/Working Knowledge of IP Networks

• Strong communication skills both verbal and written
• Ability to lead collaborate or work effectively in a variety of teams including multi-disciplinary teams

• Cisco Certifications
• NOKIA Certifications

• Minimum of 5 years' experience

• Minimum of High School Diploma or Equivalency
• Two-year technical degree desired.
