Our client, a leading organization in the technology and services sector, is seeking a Integration Platform Engineer (Richmond) to join their team. As a Integration Platform Engineer (Richmond), you will be part of the IT Operations supporting various technical initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong problem‑solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Integration Platform Engineer (Richmond)
Location: Richmond, VA
What's the Job?- Manage multiple tasks to support internal and external data channels within established SLA.
- Support and maintain systems through troubleshooting, modification, and problem resolution to ensure continuous service delivery.
- Coordinate activities across various teams including enterprise fulfillment, application development, and infrastructure services.
- Provide expertise in system architecture and strategic technical direction for initiatives.
- Assist in policy development and risk mitigation related to system integrations and data transfers.
- Experience with Sterling B2B Integrator and Sterling Secure Proxy.
- Proficiency with file transfer protocols such as Connect:
Direct, Secure+, FTPS, SFTP, AS2, etc. - Knowledge of scripting and automation using RHEL Linux.
- Strong leadership qualities with excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude.
- Hands‑on experience with day‑to‑day technical operations and troubleshooting.
