The Cloud Services & Identity Architect serves as the organization’s subject matter expert in cloud‑based identity solutions and related infrastructure. This role is responsible for architecting, designing, and implementing comprehensive solutions that support secure identity lifecycle management, directory services, Microsoft Entra/M365 services, DMARC deployment, access provisioning, and public key infrastructure (PKI). Designs and develops robust cloud architectures for identity and access management, ensuring alignment with PFG’s business objectives and compliance requirements.
Leads the implementation and optimization of identity lifecycle processes, including onboarding, offboarding, and ongoing management of user accounts and permissions. Oversees the design and administration of directory services (such as Azure Active Directory and hybrid configurations) to support authentication, authorization, and directory synchronization across PFG’s environments. Architects and integrates Microsoft Entra and Microsoft 365 services, including identity governance, conditional access, and seamless user experiences across cloud and on‑premises platforms.
Responsibilities
- Lead architectural oversight for integrating technology platforms, including Azure Entra, Active Directory, IBMi, and Identity Governance and Administration (IGA).
- Leads the implementation and optimization of identity lifecycle processes, including onboarding, offboarding, and ongoing management of user accounts and permissions.
- Oversees the design and administration of directory services (such as Azure Active Directory and hybrid configurations) to support authentication, authorization, and directory synchronization across PFG’s environments.
- Architects and integrates Microsoft Entra and Microsoft 365 services, including identity governance, conditional access, and seamless user experiences across cloud and on‑premises platforms.
- Oversees identity aspects of large, complex, and strategic projects, including mergers & acquisitions and enterprise IT integration implementations.
- Document and maintain internal wikis, architectural renderings/diagrams, standards and use cases in support of understanding our data landscape and risk details.
- Serves as Subject Matter Expert (SME) regarding Directory Services, M365 capabilities and Identity solutions.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

QualificationsRequired
Education:
Bachelors – IT, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent industry experience.
Work Experience:
- 5 – 7 Years Information Technology
Required Qualifications:
- Cloud & Dev Ops Certifications e.g., Azure Architect, Developer or Ops, Microsoft, Linux and/or Cloud Certifications related to Azure or other platforms.
Preferred Experience: 7 – 10 Years
