Senior LIMS Business Analyst
Location:
Richmond, VA (Hybrid)
Duration:
Long-Term Contract
- Gather, analyze, document, and validate business and functional requirements.
- Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and requirements sessions.
- Support STARLIMS LPH implementation activities and application discovery.
- Assist with configuration validation, testing, and quality assurance efforts.
- Develop business requirements documents, functional specifications, use cases, and user stories.
- Create and execute test plans and test cases.
- Analyze laboratory workflows and identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to ensure successful solution delivery.
- Provide stakeholder updates and manage expectations throughout the project.
- Support Agile and Waterfall SDLC methodologies.
- 5+ years of experience in a laboratory environment (clinical or environmental) or supporting laboratory systems.
- 5+ years of experience with LIMS implementation projects.
- 10+ years of Business Analyst experience.
- Strong experience in requirements gathering, use case development, and testing.
- Experience creating business and functional documentation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with QA testing, test plans, and test case execution.
- Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, and Azure Dev Ops.
- Experience with STARLIMS LPH
. - Experience with STARLIMS configuration and validation.
- Public Health, Environmental Testing, or Clinical Laboratory experience.
