The Senior Product Designer with Hyper Solutions partners closely with Product and Engineering leadership to shape the user experience across Hyper’s internal and customer-facing software platforms. This role focuses on transforming complex operational workflows into intuitive, scalable product experiences that support real-world manufacturing, logistics, and engineering environments.
Design at Hyper is a core part of product discovery and delivery. The Senior Product Designer helps define problems, shape solutions, validate ideas with users, and collaborate with engineering to ship high-quality product experiences that balance usability, technical feasibility, and business impact.
Core Responsibilities- Partner with Product leadership to shape roadmap direction through user-centered discovery, workflow analysis, and clear product narratives.
- Translate complex operational processes into intuitive user flows, information architecture, and interaction patterns.
- Lead end-to-end design execution across the product lifecycle, including discovery, concept development, prototyping, validation, high-fidelity design, and engineering handoff.
- Conduct lightweight research activities such as stakeholder interviews, user feedback sessions, and usability testing to reduce usability risk.
- Develop prototypes ranging from low- to high-fidelity to accelerate decision-making and validate design concepts.
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure designs are feasible, well-implemented, and maintain usability through technical constraints.
- Contribute to and evolve product design patterns and components with a design system mindset.
- Facilitate cross-functional sessions with product, engineering, operations, and leadership to align on problems, constraints, and solutions.
- Create clear UX specifications, document edge cases, and ensure designs address real-world operational scenarios.
- Improve product consistency by introducing reusable interaction patterns and design standards.
- Advocate for user-centered design practices across the product development process.
- Contribute to long-term design system development and product experience guidelines.
- 5+ years of experience in product design, interaction design, or UX design for digital products.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating the ability to solve complex product and workflow challenges with clear rationale and measurable outcomes.
- Strong product thinking with the ability to connect user needs, business objectives, and technical constraints.
- Deep understanding of information architecture, interaction design, usability principles, and workflow design.
- Experience leading design initiatives through ambiguity and evolving requirements.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
- High attention to detail and a strong commitment to clarity, usability, and product craftsmanship.
- Proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools such as Figma.
- Experience designing both internal operational tools and customer-facing software products.
- Experience in manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, field operations, or other complex operational domains.
- Experience contributing to or building a design system including reusable components, patterns, and governance practices.
- Familiarity with platform constraints such as permissions, system states, integrations, and edge cases.
- Build strong collaboration rhythms with Product and Engineering teams.
- Map critical user workflows and identify high-friction areas within the product experience.
- Deliver meaningful product improvements that reduce user friction and improve efficiency.
- Introduce lightweight research and prototyping practices that improve product decisions and development speed.
- Improve product consistency through reusable patterns and clearer information architecture.
