Step into the cutting‑edge world of Autonomous AI as the Product Manager for ATLAS (Alerting, Traceability, Logging, Automated controls, & System observability) you will spearhead our strategy for system safety, automated controls, and robust observability. In this transformational role, you will partner cross‑functionally to build scalable, technology‑driven architectures that deploy real‑time alerts, ensure compliance, and drastically reduce incident recovery times. By applying human‑centered design and integrated problem‑solving, you will translate complex whitespace challenges into an iterative, game‑changing roadmap that empowers our internal stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications
  • At least 3 years of experience working in Product Management
  • Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining one of the following with an expectation that the required degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date:
  • A Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field)
  • A Master's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field) or an MBA with a quantitative concentration
Preferred Qualifications
  • Hands‑on experience or strong familiarity with industry‑standard observability tools (e.g., Datadog, Splunk, New Relic, Grafana), Open Telemetry (OTEL) standards, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) concepts like SLIs, SLOs, and MTTR.
  • Proficiency in translating complex, fragmented system logs into actionable insights using data visualization tools, structured querying (e.g., SQL), and prescriptive analytics.

Salary & Benefits

The minimum and maximum full‑time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part‑time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

McLean, VA: $164,800 - $188,100 for Manager, Product Management

New York, NY: $179,700 - $205,100 for Manager, Product Management

Richmond, VA: $149,800 - $171,000 for Manager, Product Management
