Title: VDOT Business Analyst 4

Location: Richmond, VA

Job Type: Full‑time (Hybrid)

• Partner with project team members and business stakeholders to deeply understand business processes, identify pain points, and develop expertise in the customers' business applications.
• Conduct thorough business analysis, including requirements gathering, process mapping, and gap analysis.
• Collaborate with business teams, federal and state agencies, and technical teams to support migration initiatives and system implementations.
• Facilitate discussions, document requirements, and help clients improve processes through technology.
• Support project coordination and deliverable management within a hybrid or full‑time environment.

• Prior experience in IT software/application project environments required.
• Experience in system design and development with a focus on process improvement and business/technical requirements gathering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in business analysis (e.g., UI/UX, LIMS, or similar domains).
• Ability to work with federal and state agencies and adapt to Agile/Scrum frameworks.
• Strong communication skills and proficiency with business process documentation tools.

• Hybrid work arrangement: 3 days per week on site at 1401 East Broad Street.
• Contract duration: 12 months with possibility of extension.
• Pay: $12.00 hourly for temporary role (if applicable).
