Oracle OCI Cloud Engineer

Job Overview:
Pay Range: $55hr - $60hr Requirement/Must Have: 7+ years of experience with Oracle Grid Control, including version 13c. 7+ years of experience with Oracle Web Logic 12c/Fusion Middleware. 5+ years of experience with Oracle APEX administration and support. 10+ years of experience with Oracle DB migration from Solaris to Linux (database 12c/11g). 10+ years of experience with Oracle database backup/restore/RMAN/Data Guard.

10+ years of experience with Oracle performance tuning/database maintenance/management. 10+ years of experience with on-call production support. 3+ years of experience with Oracle cloud setup/AWS/Azure administration. 5+ years of experience with Windows/SQL Server/IIS administration.

Experience with Oracle database 19c and above. Responsibilities:
Design and manage Oracle OCI environments, including database, middleware, and infrastructure components. Develop and maintain Oracle APEX applications and ORDS services. Configure and administer Oracle Web Logic Server and related technologies. Plan and execute database upgrades, migrations, and conversions. Implement and manage backup, recovery, and replication strategies using RMAN and other tools. Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and data protection.

Monitor and optimize database performance, implementing tuning recommendations. Implement and automate routine tasks using shell scripting and tools like Ansible. Collaborate with development and Dev Ops teams to ensure seamless application deployment. Proactively identify and resolve potential issues, providing timely support. Document and train on best practices for Oracle OCI environment management. Nice to Have:
Certification in Oracle technologies such as OCIP, OCP, or OCE.

Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Git Lab CI. Understanding of microservices architecture and API integration.

Skills:

Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and architecture. Ability to design and implement high-availability and disaster recovery solutions.

Experience with Oracle OEM Cloud Control for monitoring and management. Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and JavaScript. In-depth knowledge of database security best practices. Expertise in performance tuning and optimization. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and collaboration abilities. Ability to provide 24/7 support and troubleshoot critical issues. Benefits Our Benefits Include:
