MS Word Excel Analyst

Location:

Richmond, VA. Contract – 6 months. Compensation: DOE.

Start Date:

12/01/2025. End Date: 05/31/2026.

• Facilitate business process design and system delivery for Virginia Tax web projects.
• Gather and document requirements, conducting interviews with users.
• Prepare complex functional design documents and specifications.
• Act as liaison among development, business, and testing teams to define high‑level software and system requirements.
• Coordinate and lead review sessions to ensure full understanding of requirements and proposed designs.
• Analyze and document solutions to complex business problems.
• Collect, interpret, and present data using SQL; manage designs with version control (e.g., GIT in Azure Dev Ops).
• Maintain detailed understanding of SDLC processes and support knowledge transfer.

• Business Analyst experience and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficiency with MS Word and Excel.
• Experience troubleshooting PC issues.
• Strong communication and stakeholder liaison capabilities.
• Experience with SQL and version control systems (GIT/Azure Dev Ops).

This is a hybrid position requiring a minimum of 3 days per week in the office. Parking is not provided. Initial interviews are virtual with the possibility of an in‑person follow‑up.
