Data Engineer Cum Data Architect
We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer cum Data Architect to design, build, and modernize enterprise-scale data platforms leveraging Snowflake, Python, and AI/ML technologies. The role involves defining data architecture, developing scalable data pipelines, enabling advanced analytics, and supporting AI-driven business solutions on cloud-based ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and implement enterprise data architecture for scalable, secure, and high-performance data platforms.
• Develop and optimize data pipelines, ETL/ELT frameworks, and data ingestion solutions using Python and cloud-native services.
• Architect and manage Snowflake data warehouse solutions, including data modeling, performance tuning, security, and cost optimization.
• Build and support data solutions for AI/ML use cases, including feature engineering, model data preparation, and MLOps integration.
• Design dimensional models, data marts, and data lake architectures to support reporting, analytics, and machine learning workloads.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, data scientists, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Establish data governance, metadata management, data quality, and security best practices.
• Drive cloud data modernization initiatives and recommend architecture improvements.

Salary and Other Compensation:
Applications will be accepted until Sept 25, 2026, The annual salary for this position is between $ 90,000 - $ 130,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans. Benefits:
