Required Skills:

Strong experience gathering, documenting, validating, and managing business and technical requirements. Handson experience with Agile methodologies and Scrum ceremonies. Experience in creating and managing user stories, acceptance criteria, functional requirements, and process documentation.

Experience with Azure Dev Ops, Git Hub, Jenkins, or related CI/CD platforms. Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible. Experience supporting enterprise applications in production environments.

Client's IT Generation organization is seeking a Senior Software & Build Engineer who combines expertise in Systems Analysis, Application Support, Agile Delivery, CI/CD Automation, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). This role serves as the bridge between business stakeholders, product teams, developers, operations, and vendors to ensure enterprise applications are designed, delivered, supported, and continuously improved through modern engineering practices. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical and business facing skills while also providing technical leadership for Dev Ops, CI/CD pipeline architecture, cloud technologies, automation, infrastructure provisioning, and application lifecycle management.

This position requires a combination of systems thinking, application support experience, process improvement capabilities, and handson engineering expertise to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable technology solutions.

Job Duties

Summary:

Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to analyze business needs, define requirements, and deliver scalable technology solutions that support organizational objectives. Lead business and systems analysis activities, including requirements gathering, process improvement, solution design, impact assessments, and documentation of functional and technical specifications. Provide subject matter expertise and support for enterprise applications by managing production issues, troubleshooting complex system problems, coordinating releases and upgrades, and driving continuous operational improvements.

Collaborate with cross functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure application reliability, performance, and successful solution delivery. Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) within Agile environments, supporting backlog management, user story development, sprint planning, release planning, and continuous improvement initiatives while partnering closely with Product Owners, Developers, QA teams, and Architects.
