  • Estate planning and client plan reviews (primary focus of the role).
  • Advise clients on estate planning strategies that protect family assets and support long-term security goals.
  • Draft and oversee preparation of core estate planning documents, with emphasis on revocable trusts.
  • Guide clients through trust funding steps and ensure plans are properly implemented.
  • Coordinate with the firm’s support team to move matters through the client journey efficiently and accurately.
  • Follow established internal policies, procedures, and workflows for client service and file management.
Looking For
  • J.D. and VA Bar Admission
  • Prior estate planning experience, especially revocable trust preparation and trust funding.
  • Experience with taxable estates, special needs trusts, and/or MAPTs is a plus (not required).
  • Strong client-facing communication skills and ability to connect with clients and prospective clients.
  • Strong organization and ability to follow established processes and procedures.
  • Detail oriented
