Title Attorney​/Settlement Attorney

Cardinal Title Group is accepting resumes for a Settlement Attorney to join our growing team, based out of our Richmond office. The candidate must be able to conduct real estate settlements while also effectively performing the job functions outlined below. The position will also require local travel for settlements within the Richmond area. Job functions include:
* Prepare and review deeds, contracts, powers of attorney, trust documents, title abstract reports, and any other legal documents relevant to Cardinal Title settlements
* Provide legal advice to real estate agents, their clients, while also representing Cardinal Title Group
* Lead/teach educational classes relevant to real estate
* Review land records and chain-of-title
* Assist in resolving any title claims
* Assist in various other relevant legal matters Qualifications
* Must be a licensed attorney in Virginia
* * 3+ years of title/real estate settlement experience
