- Bachelor’s degree; specialization in Industrial Engineering preferred.
- 3-5+ years of experience in supply chain planning
- Experience working in a manufacturing setting
- Knowledge with ERP systems
- Strategical planning thinking
- Good understanding of supply chain networks
The Local Supply Planner is responsible for driving and optimizing the supply chain management in the mid-term planning horizon for the factory. Answering the questions:
What needs to be done in order to meet the expected demand? What needs to be done when? What are the risks in the supply chain going through the factory?
- Lead and coordinate factory supply chain activities while aligning with product group objectives.
- Manage the monthly local supply review cycle and support decision-making to address supply risks and gaps.
- Develop and maintain local stock strategies (SI, NI, RI, BI) in alignment with product group direction.
- Oversee local inventory management processes and ensure component planning data remains accurate and up to date.
- Translate demand inputs from the Central Business Unit into component-level forecasts and incorporate local business insights to refine projections.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the local supply chain and contribute to global supply chain enhancements.
- Track and report supply chain performance metrics to support the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process.
- Execute administrative responsibilities in accordance with established SOPs.
- Actively participate in Status Board meetings and contribute to problem resolution and improvement initiatives.
- Recommend and implement enhancements to standard operating procedures.
- Promote waste reduction and efficiency in all supply chain activities.
