Job Title: Equipment Coordinator
Location: Richmond, Virginia
Shift: 1st
Starting Compensation Range: $23.00 - $28.91 per hour
The Equipment Coordinator is responsible for loading, unloading, receiving/releasing all rental equipment and attachments, including new or used sales and service machines and coordinating co‑locations; maintaining the rental yard for easy access; and directing the delivery of new equipment and returns.
ResponsibilitiesThe role includes:
- Loading and unloading equipment and attachments
- Receiving and releasing rental equipment and machines
- Maintaining the rental yard for efficient access
- Coordinating deliveries of new equipment and returns
- Must have ability to operate heavy equipment safely
- Must be self‑directed, organized, and able to interact with peers
- Must be able to work in a fast‑paced environment and prioritize competing tasks
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Must be able to work additional hours to meet business and customer needs
- Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Good interpersonal and customer service skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Good time‑management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines

- Previous experience operating forklift
- Frequently sitting for extended periods of time
- Hand use for finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear
- Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus

Actual base pay may vary based on experience, skills, qualifications, education, geographic location, and other relevant business considerations. In addition to base pay, the compensation package may include participation in performance‑based incentive programs (e.g., discretionary or non‑discretionary plans), as well as overtime eligibility depending on the role.
