Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $37-$41 an hour

Shift: 1st

What's a typical day as a Procurement Clerk? You'll be:

• Negotiating with contractors on price, shipping methods, and delivery times.
• Ordering goods such as office supplies to maintain inventory levels.
• Entering data on inventory and orders into computer databases.
• Reviewing planned orders, creating requisitions, and managing the approval process.
• Transmitting approved purchase orders to suppliers and tracking acknowledgements.
• Tracking orders, confirming delivery dates and costs.
• Maintaining and closing purchase orders, ensuring adherence to agreements.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have 5 to 6 years experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain operations. (must have)
• Are detail-oriented and comfortable working with numbers and databases.
• Possess strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Are proficient in computer applications and inventory management systems.
• Can prioritize tasks and interface effectively with internal teams and external vendors.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred).
