Logistics Operations Specialist

Position Overview

North American Operations Specialist – North Chesterfield, VA. Pay: $18.00 per hour.

Employment Type:

Contract / Contract‑to‑Hire. Openings: 2.

Available Schedules:

• Monday–Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (1 opening)
• Friday–Monday: 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM (1 opening)

• Track, trace and monitor shipments to ensure on‑time delivery.
• Maintain accurate transportation records and shipment documentation.
• Provide shipment updates to customers and internal teams.
• Monitor email, web portals, voicemail and transportation systems for shipment activity.
• Process transportation and customer information accurately.
• Review carrier invoices and verify billing accuracy.
• Apply transportation and accessorial charges when needed.
• Assist with daily logistics and administrative operations.
• Support internal departments with shipment information and operational updates.
• Maintain accurate data entry and documentation.
• Follow company safety, quality and compliance standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience in logistics, transportation, dispatch, customer service, operations or administrative support preferred.
• Freight forwarding or supply chain experience is a plus.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and web‑based systems.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving abilities.
• Dependable attendance and a positive, team‑oriented attitude.
