Location

Richmond, VA

Shift

2nd – 3:00 pm – 11:30 pm

Salary

$75,000 – $85,000 annually

Qualifications
  • 3–5 years of experience in logistics, warehouse, or supply chain operations
  • High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Experience with Lean principles, team leadership, and quality control/assurance
  • Strong ERP (SAP highly preferred) or manufacturing software experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams, Word)
  • Ability to analyze operational data and performance metrics
  • Experience troubleshooting mechanical or electrical issues, interpreting schematics, and resolving operational problems
  • Capable of prioritizing multiple issues and making sound decisions based on operational impact
  • Basic math proficiency, including rates, ratios, percentages, and interpreting bar graphs
Responsibilities
  • Supervise, coach, and lead logistics team members, including shipping, receiving, and warehouse staff
  • Assign work, monitor performance, and ensure compliance with standard operating procedures
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to ensure accurate and on-time deliveries
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and proper system transactions
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with production, procurement, and customer service teams to align material availability with schedules and customer demand
  • Optimize warehouse layout, material flow, and storage methods to improve efficiency and reduce handling time
  • Investigate and resolve shipping discrepancies, inventory variances, and logistical issues
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including on-time delivery, inventory accuracy, and freight costs; implement corrective actions and improvements
  • Coordinate with carriers, vendors, and third‑party logistics providers to ensure cost‑effective and reliable transportation
  • Support implementation and continuous improvement of logistics processes and systems
