Manager of Supply Chain & Logistics

We are seeking a hands?on Logistics Manager to lead shipping, warehouse, and distribution operations in a fast?paced manufacturing environment. This role ensures safe, efficient, and on?time delivery of finished goods while overseeing a 24/7 logistics team.

Location:

Richmond, VA

Salary: $110-$120K DOE

• 4+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred)
• Experience leading teams in warehouse, shipping, or logistics operations
• Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and quality assurance experience preferred
• Excellent communication and cross?functional collaboration skills
• Ability to prioritize and resolve issues in a high?pressure environment
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams, Word)

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field
• Experience with freight management and carrier negotiations
• Exposure to capital equipment and maintenance coordination

• Lead and develop a multi?shift logistics team focused on safety, performance, and continuous improvement
• Manage ERP system transactions for shipping, receiving, and inventory movements
• Ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment and customer deliveries
• Partner cross?functionally with Supply Chain, Sales, and Operations to support production and scheduling
• Oversee material handling equipment, including maintenance, safety, and capital decisions
• Manage freight execution, carrier relationships, and transportation costs
• Serve as escalation point for shipment issues, invoicing discrepancies, and expedited requests
• Support quality, safety, and lean initiatives across logistics operations
