Imagine leading the operation of cutting-edge automated logistics systems to ensure seamless material flow and production efficiency. As a Logistics Systems Specialist, you'll drive operational excellence and innovation in the Materials Warehouse (WH) area.
About the Role
As our Logistics Systems Specialist, you'll oversee the operation of automated equipment such as conveyors, elevators, shuttle cars, and robots in the Materials WH area. You'll ensure the LEGO Production team meets production plans and product quality by maintaining logistics equipment and managing warehouse software systems like WMS, SAP, and others. Your role will involve optimizing material flow, applying contingency plans, and collaborating with departments to minimize operational impact.
You'll also participate in continuous improvement projects and coordinate maintenance activities.
Core Responsibilities
- Ensure the operation of automated logistics equipment to meet production plans and product quality.
- Manage warehouse software systems (WMS/SAP/COMBI/AGV/AL/ETTRIC/TGW).
- Monitor and confirm warehouse processes to ensure material integrity and delivery.
- Optimize material flow and apply contingency plans to minimize production impact.
- Collaborate with departments to reroute flow and minimize operational impact in case of failure.
- Participate in continuous improvement events and warehouse/maintenance projects.
Tasks
- Review production plans with planning and production teams to confirm feasibility.
- Participate in SAT and FAT of equipment.
- Communicate with HBW regarding process flow and urgent materials.
- Map and standardize critical equipment parameters.
- Coordinate technicians for predictive, preventive, corrective, and planned maintenance.
- Take initiative in solving machinery problems, including electronic, electrical, and mechanical modifications.
- Act as the department point of contact during shifts.
- Ensure proper storage conditions for materials.
- Monitor and develop operational and technical personnel.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in managing automated equipment and logistics software is crucial to drive efficiency and innovation in our operations.
- Experience in Engineering, Automation, Maintenance, or Software Projects.
- Proficiency in managing automated equipment and logistics software systems like WMS and SAP.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills in fast-paced operational environments.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.
- Ability to coordinate and lead maintenance activities for logistics equipment.
- High level of analytical skills to optimize material flow and logistics processes.
Preferred Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related technical field is essential for mastering the complexities of automated logistics systems is desired.
- Experience in Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
- Familiarity with structured problem-solving tools such as PDCA, A3, or 5-Why.
- Previous experience in consumer goods, automotive, plastics, electronics, or advanced manufacturing industries.
- Takes initiative and acts on opportunities to enhance logistics operations.
- Thrives in a team setting, contributing to shared goals and supporting colleagues' learning.

Compensation
The salary for this position has a range of $84,674.00 - $ based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints.
