Part-Time Non Exempt ASM,, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities  has an excellent and immediate part-time opening for a Floor Technician at the ASM Richmond facilities (Altria Theater, Dominion Energy Center, and Bon Secours Training Center). The Part-Time Floor Technician is responsible for the overall floor maintenance of hard surface and carpet (stripping, waxing, buffing, shampooing, extraction, & bonneting) areas that include offices, classrooms, lobbies, entrances, stairwells, stages, hallways and other public areas.

* Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

*** Follows all safety requirements and procedures at all times
* Performs preventative maintenance check on all equipment prior to use at beginning and end of the shift
* Handles floor care, including routine mopping (dry and damp), buffing and burnishing on hard surface
* Provides floor maintenance; including but not limited to, vacuuming, shampooing, bonneting and extracting carpets, stairwells, and upholstery
* Performs other duties as assigned
* ASM provides a dynamic working environment in which duties and responsibilities may change; therefore, employees are expected to be flexible and responsive to changes in the scope of their duties
** QUALIFICATIONS
* ** Knowledge of the materials, methods, implements and devices used in cleaning building area
* Ability to understand and speak English and follow oral and written instructions
* Possess strong leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work as a team player
* Possess considerable knowledge of the operation, use and care of vacuum cleaners, scrubbing machines, polishing machines and general house-keeping equipment
* Ability to work under pressure and time constraints (due to schedule and last minute job requests)
* Ability to work a flexible schedule including evening and weekend assignments
