Position
Custodian at Southwest Virginia Community College (SWCC). Role Code: 79071‑SW. Hired as:
Full‑time or Part‑time (up to 29 hours per week). Pay: $15.00 per hour (Pay Band 01).

Tazewell, VA. Shift: Monday‑Friday day shift. Telework:

- Mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and buffing floors.
- Trash removal and disposal.
- Cleaning restrooms, windows, and other designated areas.
- Stripping and refinishing floors.
- Care and handling of housekeeping equipment, supplies, and assigned keys.
- Assisting the agency or state government in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Basic computer skills required.
- Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to safely and efficiently operate electrically powered and manual cleaning equipment.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Commercial or industrial cleaning experience preferred.
