Maintenance Technician - 1st Shift - Richmond, VA
Location:
Richmond, VA
Salary: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Schedule:
First shift, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday

Performs a variety of maintenance duties to ensure the smooth operation of the facility.
Responsibilities- Troubleshoot equipment, replace plumbing fixtures, rodding drains and pipes, identify and stop leaks, rebuild flush valves.
- Supervise and adjust the building automation system for patient and staff comfort.
- Conduct generator testing and inspections; replace light fixtures, bulbs, ceiling tiles, and respond to general building issues.
- Use drawings, wiring diagrams, and operations & maintenance manuals to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment.
- Coordinate specialized work with vendors and contractors.
- Perform preventative maintenance on the emergency power system, emergency lighting, ice machines, refrigerators, HVAC equipment, and other building systems.
- Conduct building and mechanical‑room inspections in accordance with the maintenance program.
- 3–5 years of related experience as a maintenance worker or technician preferred.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to follow up on maintenance tasks.
- Driver’s license and clean driving record required.
- Experience with Building Automation Systems.
- Experience with computerized work order systems preferred.
