The Cleaner provides the cleaning and upkeep of an assigned area.

Pay: $18.00 per hour – $18.00 per hour

• This position is for custodial services at a temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter‑day Saints, only members of the Church who are endowed and have a current temple recommend qualify for employment for this specific position.

• Cleans building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them. Follows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
• Dusts furniture, walls, light fixtures.
• Removes stains from rugs, drapes, walls, and floors using chemicals and cleaning solutions.
• Mixes water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions according to specifications.
• Cleans and vacuums carpeted areas, including application of spot cleaning treatment.
• Gathers and empties trash.
• Wipes and cleans tabletops, chairs, and furniture.
• Polishes furniture and fixtures.
• Services, cleans, and supplies restrooms.
• Cleans glass doors.
• Maintains the janitor’s closet neat and orderly and maintains equipment in good working order.
• Requisition s supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties.
• Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.
