Prospect Blue has partnered with a reputable company in Richmond, VA and is seeking a Chief of Staff. The ideal candidate would act as a strategic and operational extension of the CEO and Senior Leadership Team (SLT). This individual helps turn organizational strategy into measurable action, strengthens alignment across leadership, and enhances overall effectiveness. The role ensures priorities move forward, commitments are met, and leadership time is focused on the highest-impact activities.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-level administrative and strategic support that optimizes leadership productivity.
- Ensure high-value initiatives and critical follow-ups are completed in a timely manner.
- Strengthen communication and follow-through between the CEO and direct reports, peers, and broader leadership.
- Serve as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to the CEO and SLT members.
- Prepare, structure, and facilitate effective SLT meetings that drive clear outcomes.
- Promote accountability and ensure commitments made by leadership are executed.
- Elevate decision quality through thoughtful analysis, insight, and disciplined execution.
- Curate and prioritize weekly strategic discussions for the SLT.
- Develop meeting agendas, pre-read materials, and ensure overall readiness.
- Prepare briefing materials and support for CEO one-on-one meetings.
- Monitor action items, key decisions, and deliverables across leadership forums.
- Reinforce accountability around agreed timelines and objectives.
- Proactively identify risks, obstacles, and execution gaps, recommending solutions as needed.
- Coordinate and support high-impact customer interactions.
- Develop objectives, background materials, and briefing documents for important meetings.
- Conduct on-demand analyses to inform executive decision‑making.
- Translate data into concise insights and actionable recommendations.
- Plan and oversee leadership offsite sessions, including follow‑up on outcomes.
- Help maintain a consistent and effective executive operating rhythm.
- Support KPI collection, tracking, and reporting.
- Contribute to process improvement and lean initiatives.
- Assist with implementation and optimization of AI‑enabled tools and workflows where appropriate.
- Ability to handle highly sensitive information with absolute discretion and integrity.

- Regular engagement with employees across all levels, both domestically and internationally.
- Occasional interaction with Board members and their representatives.
- Moderate engagement with customers, clients, vendors, and external stakeholders.
- Exercises independent judgment in managing daily processes and operational matters.
- Consults leadership on issues involving financial implications or broad organizational impact.
- Makes decisions aligned with the company’s mission, vision, values, and strategic objectives.
Primarily office‑based with standard physical requirements.
Flexibility required, including occasional extended hours during peak periods.
Periodic travel to company locations or customer sites as needed.
Education & Experience- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience required.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience.
- Prior experience supporting and managing senior executives in a comparable environment is required.
