In Business Cards and Payments (BC&P), we are on a mission to pave the path for businesses to do more business. Within the BC&P Operating Office, we serve as the operational engine, enabling alignment, velocity, and resilience across the organization. The Automation Risk Manager will leverage automation, artificial intelligence, and innovative tools to elevate the quality and maturity of our operational processes, partnering with stakeholders to implement scalable, technology‑forward solutions.
Job Responsibilities- Partner with cross-functional business stakeholders across BC&P, Tech & Data Risk Management (TDRM), and Card Risk to diagnose business challenges, proactively identifying and prioritizing opportunities to drive efficiency through process improvement and technology integration.
- Translate complex, manual efforts into streamlined, technology‑forward workflows that balance business velocity with sustainable risk rigor.
- Lead the integration of emerging technologies—including GenAI—to automate high‑impact activities and scale operational capacity.
- Maintain proficiency in TDRM standards to ensure BC&P script compliance, managing end-to-end governance activities.
- Leverage data‑driven insights to measure the impact of process enhancements, providing leadership with actionable reporting on operational health and status of upliftment.
- Bachelor’s Degree or military experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in Risk Management, Project Management, Process Management, Compliance, or Audit.
- At least 3 years of experience working with business and risk teams.
- 6+ years of experience in Risk Management, Project Management, Process Management, Compliance, or Audit.
- Proven track record of transforming operational workflows and enhancing process maturity through implementation of automation, data‑driven insights, and technology‑led solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguous environments and manage multiple priorities autonomously.
- Experience leveraging automation tools (e.g., GenAI, workflow automation, data visualization) to transform operational workflows.
- Experience leveraging data‑driven insights to design scalable, technology‑forward solutions that enhance process and control maturity.
- McLean, VA: $151,900 - $173,400
- Richmond, VA: $138,100 - $157,700
Performance‑based incentive compensation may be available.
