About the Role Supervise and develop a team that delivers total price reduction through efficiency, lean practices and reduction of costs while not impacting quality or level of products.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Supervise buyers to ensure consistent and coordinated deployment of purchasing strategies within area of responsibility.

-Effectively communicating with the management team to ensure all orders are accurate, all deliveries satisfy the assigned orders, and report any back ordered or missing products
-Deliver year over year cost savings through actively challenging supplier pricing, revising specifications, initiating cost savings opportunities and implementing new negotiating strategies
-Deliver improvements in areas such as cost, terms, service level, and quality to meet overall business goals and objectives. Develops, supports and drives continuous improvement initiatives
-Run daily MRP report for the items that need to be purchased. Maintain supplier scorecard program and utilize data to designate preferred supplier status
-Maintain current market knowledge of commercial parts and vendors who sell them. Researches and qualifies new suppliers to provide a broader base of vendors from source custom and commercial parts. Other duties as needed

What You Need to Be Successful Bachelor’s degree in business management or equivalent degree Minimum of 3+ years of planning, directing, or coordinating the activities of buyers, purchasing officers, and related workers involved in purchasing materials, products, and services. Minimum of 3+ years of supervisor/management experience Skillset using MS Office suite and familiarity with SAPOur Offer Coesia North America offers a competitive benefit package which includes, among other things:
