Directional Drilling Supervisor
Find Talent is seeking a dedicated and experienced Directional Drilling Supervisor to lead and oversee directional drilling operations for a reputable utility services provider. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Virginia. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on expertise in directional drilling, strong leadership capabilities, and a commitment to safety and quality in utility construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all aspects of directional drilling operations.
- Lead a field crew, ensuring efficient and safe execution of projects.
- Operate and maintain directional drilling equipment, ensuring optimal performance.
- Review and implement project plans, blueprints, and specifications.
- Maintain compliance with all safety protocols, industry regulations, and company policies.
- Identify and resolve on-site challenges to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
- Report project progress and key updates to stakeholders and management.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in directional drilling operations, including HDD (Horizontal Directional Drilling) equipment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams effectively.
- Thorough knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in utility construction.
- Proficient in interpreting and executing project plans and specifications.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- CDL (Commercial Driver's License) with a clean driving record is preferred.
