Job Title: Finishing Supervisor – Printing
Location: On-site in Richmond, BC
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Company Overview: A well-established and growing print manufacturing leader is seeking a full-time Finishing Supervisor to support facility operations. This role includes supervising 3-4 finishing and press operators, and planning operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise workers and projects
• Train or arrange for training
• Co-ordinate and schedule activities
• Establish methods to meet work schedules
• Provide technical and professional advice
• Requisition materials and supplies
• Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies
• Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
• Develop production schedules and duty assignments to ensure proper functioning
• Evaluate daily operations
• Plan and organize daily operations
• Organize and maintain inventory
• Set up and adjust processing and packaging machines
• Plan and implement changes to machinery and equipment, production systems and methods of work
• Develop equipment maintenance schedules and recommend the replacement of machines
• Set up and operate various specialized finishing equipment and machines

Supervision:

• 3-4 people
• Binding and finishing machine operators
• Press operators

Experience and specialization:

Equipment and machinery experience:

• 3 years to 5 years
