We are seeking a dedicated Assembler to join our fast-paced production team. As an Assembler, you l collaborate with a partner to ensure accurate and efficient assembly of components and products. The role involves using hand tools and power tools to assemble metal products, and you will also be trained to operate the stacker machine and overhead crane.

• Assemble sub-components and finished products using hand tools and power tools.

• Build and fit metal products, ensuring components are accurately assembled.

• Operate hand and power tools, as well as the overhead crane, to build units

• Review assembly diagrams to determine parts and quantities needed for unit assembly.

• Work collaboratively with a team member to fulfill product orders daily.

• Engage in repetitive lifting, some materials weighing over 60 lbs.

• Maintain a neat, organized work environment following 5S standards.

• Proficiency in using hand and power tools.

• Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings and blueprints.

• Experience with operating an overhead crane.

• Comfortable with repetitive lifting and physical tasks.

• Basic mechanical skills and understanding of assembly processes.

• High School Diploma or GED required upon permanent conversion (Company offers GED program).

• Ability to lift 50 lbs independently and over 60 lbs with assistance.

• Capability to stand, walk, and extend arms for extended periods.

Work in a large, clean, and organized manufacturing floor with clearly labeled sections. The facility operates on multiple shifts:
First Shift (6 AM - 2:30 PM, with possible extension to 4:30 PM), Second Shift (2:15 PM - 10:45 PM, with possible Saturday hours from 12 PM to 6 PM), and Third Shift (10 PM - 6:30 AM, Sunday through Thursday).

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richmond, VA.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Richmond,VA.
