Job Title:
Assembler
Under the direction of production supervision, the Assembler is responsible for building the highest quality products at the lowest possible cost, meeting company production standards and customer specifications, and adhering to delivery requirements in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities- Assemble products following engineering documents to ensure the highest quality standards.
- Operate a computer to check schedules and update the manufacturing status of jobs.
- Perform operator-based Go-No Go testing per procedures.
- Monitor the quality of parts used in the assembly process continually.
- Assist in training other employees and resolve inquiries and problems.
- Perform material handling activities as required.
- Review assembly processes and methods, recommending changes for continuous improvement of productivity and quality.
- Interface with engineering to communicate information accurately.
- Complete and maintain all required paperwork, records, and documentation.
- Participate actively in team meetings and group discussions.
- Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations.
- Maintain departmental housekeeping standards.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Up to 2 years of experience in a similar role.
Skills & Qualifications
- Hands‑on industrial experience is preferred.

Work EnvironmentWork in a very clean and organized manufacturing facility with rotating stations for electrical assembly of PDUs. Collaborate closely with quality technicians, assemblers, cell leads, supervisors, and engineers to ensure the highest standards of assembly progress.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Richmond, VA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr.
