Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Material Handler / Assembler for a 1st shift position. The role involves pulling parts for transport to the assembly team and assisting with assembling the units.

• Transport parts to the assembly team.
• Assemble sub-components and finished products.
• Operate hand and power tools, overhead crane and stand up forklift.
• Lift and fit metal products using hand tools.
• Work with a team member to fulfill product orders.
• Engage in lifting, climbing, standing, and walking for extended periods.

• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Ability to read assembly diagrams and schematics.
• Experience operating overhead cranes.
• Mechanical aptitude and blueprint reading.

• High school diploma or GED required upon permanent conversion.
• Comfortable lifting 60lbs+.
• Ability to regularly walk, sit, and reach for extended periods.
• Able to operate hand tools and power tools effectively.

This role operates during the first shift from 6AM to 2:30PM, with the option to extend until 4:30PM. The work environment is organized and spacious, with a large manufacturing floor where sections are clearly labeled based on materials and production.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richmond, VA.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Richmond,VA.
