Lead Team Member helps train other TMs and may perform the same work as other TMs: a variety of warehouse duties including forklift operation, inventory control, receiving and shipping to ensure accurate and safe shipment of goods to and from the customer.

• Coordinate and lead the team’s daily operations.
• Unpack, repack, place items, etc.
• Use tools and visual aids to confirm quantities of freight being received and shipped.
• Operate a forklift and/or crane for loading and unloading.
• Operate other machines for production or processing, such as scan gun.
• Inspect product before shipping.
• Clean work area according to 5S standards.
• Enter production data into basic spreadsheet systems.
• Follow approved procedures and precautions.
• Assist in providing a safe environment for all employees.
• Maintain paperwork of incoming and outgoing products.
• Participate in team meetings and training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Ability to use Word, Excel, and other databases as required.
• High School Diploma and six months related experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Effective communication or presentation skills in one-on-one or small group situations with customers, clients, and other employees within the organization.
• Arithmetic skills: add, subtract, multiply, divide, and ability to create and interpret graphs.
• Shift - 1st (first shift).
