# Quality Control Inspector

Job Description The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for performing incoming, in-process, and final inspections to ensure manufactured products meet engineering specifications and customer requirements. This role plays a critical part in maintaining product quality, reducing defects, and supporting continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Opportunities are available on both first and second shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

* Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of materials and finished products
* Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions
* Use precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to verify dimensions
* Identify nonconforming material and initiate NCRs as required
* Communicate quality issues to production and leadership teams
* Support root cause analysis and corrective actions
* Recommend process improvements to reduce defects and variation
* Perform random audits to verify process compliance
* Maintain clean and organized work area in alignment with 5S standards

Minimum Qualifications:

* Minimum 2 years of experience as a Quality Inspector in a manufacturing environment (required)
* Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints
* Proficiency using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.)
* Basic understanding of quality standards and inspection processes
* Ability to document inspection results and communicate findings effectively###

Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in metal fabrication, HVAC, or heat exchanger manufacturing
* Experience working under ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems
* Experience with NCR documentation and root cause analysis
* Basic computer/data entry experience (Excel, ERP systems)
