Consulting Systems Engineer - National Programs Group
As a member of the National Program Group Engineering Team, you will support both pre‑sales and post‑sales opportunities for a variety of high‑profile mission programs, collaborating with account teams across the Intelligence Community, DoD, and Public Sector. Your role requires effective multitasking between pre‑sales and post‑sales responsibilities to deliver strategic, innovative architectures and solutions that scale for mission‑critical systems.
Responsibilities- Provide workshops and support demonstrations to customers in support of account team opportunities.
- Ensure that proposed solutions meet customer needs and functional requirements.
- Coordinate solution development using best practices and researching customized solutions.
- Develop and foster relationships with strategic OEMs and key partners.
- Work with cloud providers to engineer solutions that best satisfy customer requirements.
- Champion service‑provider design components through the ICD‑503 process, supporting documentation and control gates.
- Support customer outreach and migration from legacy to new service‑provider infrastructure.
- Collaborate with the pre‑sales team to establish and deploy solutions, including business‑case development for new services with profitability and TCO analysis.
- Coordinate and communicate advanced enterprise solutions across sub‑contractors, OEMs, and partners.
- Develop documentation required to operationalize new or updated capabilities.
- Work with customers to identify, deploy, and productize new services such as VDI, collaboration, hybrid cloud, multi‑cloud, and on‑prem solutions.
- Support the design, development, test, and deployment of service‑provider networks and infrastructure (hardware and software).
- Active Top Secret SCI clearance with CI Poly required.
- Position located in Northern Virginia with occasional travel (e.g., St. Louis, Maryland, Denver, other CONUS locations).
- Experience engaging with technical stakeholders and executive leaders, presenting technical solutions and leading discovery and planning sessions.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation, and technical sales skills; ability to multi‑task across pre‑sales and post‑sales responsibilities.
Salary range: $ – $ annually. Actual salary based on shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure, certification, and business needs. Some positions may be eligible for variable incentive compensation such as bonuses or commissions.
