Forklift Operator, Material Handler

Responsibilities- Responsible for utilizing the forklift to load pallets of finished products onto rollers to wrap plastic.
- Once wrapped, uses forklift to load pallets onto racks.
- Moves material using forklift and truck.
- Receives incoming materials and loads onto racks using pallet jack and forklift.
- Transports raw material to machines on production floor.
- Stacks cardboard tops at each machine.
- Adjusts two at individual machines using pallet jack.
- Responsible for housekeeping duties such as sweeping, mopping, dumping trash etc.
- Expected to act in a professional and courteous manner at all times.
- Responsible for loading/unloading raw material items onto the processing machines.
- Responsible for hand packing finished goods onto cardboard trays.
- Conducts finished goods verification counts to ensure proper packaging.
- Collect, weigh, dispose of all process waste.
- Provide relief for employees operating machines.
- ISO 9001, 14001 and Environmental, Health and Safety Compliance
- Operates all equipment in the prescribed manner
- Reports all safety concerns to Supervisor
- Maintains awareness of company policies
- Maintains awareness of company objectives for ISO 9001 and ISO 14001
- Supports the Company’s continuous improvement initiatives
- Completes all tasks as assigned by Supervisor.
Education/Experience
- A High School Diploma or equivalent

Skills/Abilities Good communication, grammar, voice and diction. Must also have the ability to use tools (Forklift, pallet jack, rollers, steel toe shoes, strap cutters, utility knife and trash buggies).
