We're Looking For

We are looking for a Team Lead who will be responsible for coordinating operations within a specific area and performing the following duties.

Responsibilities
  • Leading and directing manufacturing teams.
  • Implementing SQDC (Safety-Quality-Delivery-Cost) and Lean principles.
  • Conducting daily board (huddle group) meetings focused on area performance.
  • Interpreting and ensuring compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
  • Recommending and implementing measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and product quality.
  • Analyzing and resolving work problems using PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act).
  • Performing activities of workers in the group as a backup.
  • Preparing and executing daily start‑up plans.
  • Updating, implementing, and maintaining a cross‑functional training matrix.
  • Partnering with manufacturing engineering to assure on‑time delivery to customers through Kaizen processes.
  • Conducting continuous level load scheduling.
  • Coordinating material scheduling and kitting to prevent line shortages.
  • Maintaining 6S throughout the shift and operator PM checklists.
  • Implementing and sustaining standard work procedures and practices, including visual boards and controls.
  • Assisting workers in resolving work problems.
  • Maintaining efficiency levels of 90% or better.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
Basic Qualifications
  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
  • Over 3 years of related experience.
  • Basic computer experience with MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook, and basic AS400 or similar system knowledge.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
  • AS400 experience preferred.
Physical Demands
  • Must be able to lift/pull/push 50 lbs. up to 50 % of the shift.
  • Must be able to stand/walk/bend/twist for prolonged periods up to 10 hours/day as needed per production area.
  • Ability to make repetitive motions on the machine up to 40 % of the shift.
