What You’ll Do

The Assembler, Settings position is responsible for assembling and blanking settings. This person will be working on exclusive customer products.

Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities
  • Consistently assembles 200-250 quality pieces per 8‑hour shift including inspections, cleanup and turning in job with less than 2% defect ratio.
  • Sets up equipment accurately and independently. Adjusts and corrects machine set‑ups to reduce thicknesses, reshape products, and eliminate product defects.
  • Cross trains in multiple jewelry departments.
  • Ensures that the correct amount of material is ordered, scans jobs to proper area and box # and ensures the correct time and weight on each job.
  • Observe all plant safety rules and regulations, wear proper safety attire at all times.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Able to use & read measuring instruments (i.e.: rulers, gauges, etc.).
  • Must be punctual and reliable; achieves results even when confronted with conflicting responsibilities and limited resources.
  • Must work well with coworkers using both written and verbal communication. Will usually voice their opinions and ideas when problem‑solving to formulate the best path forward.
  • Ability to learn, understand and adhere to established policies and procedures.
  • Maintains high ethics. Is respectful and honest. Is caring, friendly and willing to share knowledge and expertise.
Physical/Environmental Requirements
  • Will be required to perform specific tasks that involve standing, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, squatting, kicking or kneeling.
  • Must be able to lift with or without mechanical aids on a recurring basis (up to 45 lbs.).
  • Work is performed within a production environment, subject to temperature variations, chemicals, mechanical parts, increased noise levels and dust.
  • Must have 20/20 distance vision with or without the use of aids such as glasses or contact lenses.
