Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in steel fabrication, is seeking a MIG Welder to join their dedicated team. As a MIG Welder, you will be an essential part of the production process, supporting the manufacturing team in creating high-quality metal components. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, a proactive attitude, and excellent teamwork skills, which will align successfully within the organization.

Pay Range: $21.00

Shift: 6 am – 2:30 pm, Monday through Saturday (may include some Saturdays; OT may be available)

What's the Job?
  • Lay out, fit, and weld fabricated steel frames and metal parts on the production floor using welding equipment.
  • Measure and mark locations for metal components based on blueprints and engineering drawings.
  • Verify the position of metal components in assembly using tools such as straight edges, squares, and rulers.
  • Operate welding equipment including MIG and TIG welders, torch, plasma cutter, and grinder.
  • Perform prep and finishing work on metal components by grinding or sanding, ensuring quality standards are met.
What's Needed?
  • Experience in MIG and TIG welding, with the ability to read and interpret blueprints and sketches.
  • Ability to perform standard measurements and use measuring devices accurately.
  • Strong understanding of safety procedures and the ability to wear required PPE.
  • Mechanical aptitude with initiative and problem-solving skills.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred; relevant vocational training or experience in metal fabrication is a plus.
