Title: Machine Operator

Location: Richmond, VA

Employment Type: Temp to Direct

Schedule: 40 Hours per week

Compensation: $23.00 – $27.00 per hour

• Operate metal forming and metalworking equipment to manufacture high‑quality components in a fast‑paced production environment.
• Set up and configure tooling and machines in accordance with blueprints and production routing information.
• Perform machine changeovers and equipment adjustments as needed.
• Complete daily preventative maintenance activities to support equipment reliability.
• Inspect finished parts to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Participate in safety, quality, and productivity improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance processes and extend tooling life.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to maintenance and process efficiency.

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of experience working with mechanical equipment.
• 2+ years of machine operating experience.
• 2+ years of mechanical troubleshooting experience.
• Manufacturing experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Experience working on vehicles, equipment, or machinery.
• Ability to identify and resolve operational issues.
• Critical thinking and problem‑solving skills; capable of working independently.
• Ability to use measuring devices such as calipers and tape measures.
• Proficiency in basic arithmetic, including fractions and decimals.
• Team player committed to improving equipment and team performance.

• Background check will be conducted upon offer of employment.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
